According to the requirements of the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (Decree No. 4 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment), the public participation in environmental impact assessment will be publicized for the first time for the change of the 1 million pig slaughtering and deep processing construction project of Huihong Industrial Co., Ltd. to solicit public opinions.

Project Name: Change of 1 million Pig Slaughter and Deep Processing Project of Huihong Industry Co., Ltd.

Nature of Construction: Change Report

Construction unit: Huihong Industry Co., Ltd.

Construction site: Food Processing Park, Shaoshan High-tech Industrial Development Zone

Labor capacity and working system: the project labor capacity is 600, the annual production days are 300 days, one shift working system, 8 hours/shift

Total investment: 190 million yuan

The main project content of this change includes the following parts:

① Change of cooked food processing site: The original EIA cooked food processing area is located to the north of the slaughter processing area (I. e. the factory area to the north of Food Source Road). Due to the epidemic situation and financial situation, the construction of the factory area to the north of Food Source Road is to be canceled. By adjusting the layout of the slaughtering workshop, the site of the cooked food processing area will be changed to the second floor (built) of Area A of the slaughtering workshop, with a construction area of 5000 m2.

② After this change, a spare European-style pig slaughtering production line will be added (only for use in case of accidents of slaughtering production line). After the change, the slaughtering volume of pigs will remain unchanged at 1 million head/a, and the plan and production scale of cooked food processing products will change: the construction of 2 cooked food processing production lines in the original EIA is planned to be canceled and changed to 1 pickled meat production line, 1 bacon product production line and 1 prefabricated vegetable production line, cooked food processing scale increased from the original 6000t/a to 10000t/a.

③ Change the 4 t/h gas boiler approved by the original EIA to one electric steam generator (already built); Add a 0.5 t/h gas steam generator.

The sewage treatment station in the plant area is newly added with disinfection treatment process, and part of the treated wastewater is recycled to be used for slaughter circle, road, workshop cleaning and plant greening irrigation, while the rest is discharged into Youyiqiao Sewage Treatment Plant through the municipal sewage pipe network to meet the standards and then discharged into the Shao River.
